Meet Your Instructor: "Hi! I’m Casey, a local artist passionate about creating handmade art. I’m a former biologist turned artist and the owner of Samaran Selkie, my small art business dedicated to exploring the beauty of nature through creative expression. My work is inspired by my deep love for the natural world, and I enjoy sharing that passion through painting, printmaking, clay creations, and jewelry making. I’m excited to welcome you to this workshop and help you create your own printable design!”
What to Expect: Join me for a fun and creative workshop where you'll design and carve your very own linoleum block! I’ll provide the block, carving tools, and everything necessary to print your hand carved design. Bring along some ideas to create your own unique artwork!
In this class, we’ll focus on carving your block to make a fun holiday design that you can take home and use to print your own unique and personalized Christmas cards! One block can be used again and again, so you can make as many cards as you need, or use your stamp to make personalized holiday menus or whatever else you’d like to deck the halls! At home, all you will need is an ink pad or printmaking ink, and some paper, clothing, or whatever surface you'd like to adorn with your stamp!
