With a background in biology and a Master of Science, Casey creates intricate depictions of insects, birds, aquatic animals, and plants inspired largely by the flora and fauna of Appalachia.
Working in stippled ink, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media, Casey explores transformation, adaptation, resilience, fragility, and the often-overlooked beauty of the natural world. Since launching Samaran Selkie in 2024, Casey has exhibited throughout the region and continues to use art to inspire curiosity and a deeper connection with the living world around us.
SHANNON SHINE | SHINE TIME STUDIOS

Her mission is to help others activate their dreams, believe in themselves, and discover light and possibility through art and creative expression.
HANNAH JEAN METALWORKS
Working from her home studio in Frostburg, MD, Hannah creates jewelry and sculpture using bronze, copper, and sterling silver.
Experimentation is at the heart of her process as she explores the ways metal responds to heat, pressure, and tooling to create unique textures and forms. Her work carries a whimsical flow and searches for beauty and fun among the chaos. A full-time jewelry artist, Hannah shares her work at art shows, festivals, galleries, and online.
